Terms of use · Reformed Church Tășnad

Who runs this website?

This website is run by the Reformed Parish of Tășnad (Str. Ștefan cel Mare nr. 1, 445300 Tășnad, Satu Mare County, Romania). Our contact details are on the Contact page. By using the website, you accept these terms.

Using the website

The website is free and is meant to inform. We do our best to keep it up to date, but service and event times can change. Before an important occasion, it is worth checking the website or asking the parish office.

Booking a church tour

Sending the booking form is a request, not a final booking: the time is only confirmed once the parish office has confirmed it by e-mail or phone. If you can no longer come, please let us know as soon as possible via the Contact page. The parish may decline a request and, where there is good reason (for example a funeral or another church service), may cancel or move a confirmed tour; if so, we will try to let you know in good time.

Signing up for events

When you sign up for an event, we send you a confirmation by e-mail. If the event is full, you may be placed on a waiting list, and we will let you know if a place becomes free. Marking yourself as “Interested” carries no obligation. You can cancel your sign-up at any time with the link in the confirmation e-mail. The parish may postpone or cancel an event; if so, we will try to let everyone who signed up know.

Contact form

Please use the form with your real details, for enquiries that concern the parish. Do not send advertising, offensive or unlawful content. To prevent misuse, we limit how many messages can be sent within a short time.

Donations

Giving is voluntary. The website takes no online payments: the Give page lists the parish’s bank details, and your gift goes directly to the parish by bank transfer. Donations are not refunded unless the law requires otherwise. If you made a transfer by mistake, please contact us via the Contact page.

Personal data

How we handle the personal data you enter in the forms is described in the Privacy notice; we do not repeat it here.

Content from others

Some content on the website comes from other rights holders and is covered by their licences. The text of the Revised New Translation (RÚF 2014) is provided by szentiras.eu (© Hungarian Bible Society), and the other Bible translations come from getBible.net. The verse of the day comes from the Bibliaolvasó Kalauz reading guide (reformatus.hu). Some photos are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 or are in the public domain; for images from outside sources, we credit the author and the licence. The map is the work of OpenStreetMap contributors (© OpenStreetMap). This content may be used under its own licence.

Our own content

The parish’s own texts, news, blog posts and photos are protected by copyright. You are welcome to share them for personal or church use, crediting the source (Reformed Parish of Tășnad). For any other use, please ask our permission.

External links

The website also links to other sites (for example Facebook, szentiras.eu, reformatus.hu). Their operators are responsible for their content and for how they handle data.

Availability and liability

We try to keep the website available and accurate at all times, but we cannot guarantee it: it may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for damage arising from the use of the website or from its unavailability.

The parish office area

The “Staff login” area is only for staff authorised by the parish. Please do not try to access it without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach us via the Contact page.
